NOTICE TO DELAWARE TWP RESIDENTS re COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 virus, which is extremely contagious, the CDC, Governor Wolf and numerous other State and Federal Agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited or limited the congregation of groups of people. Although the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors strongly encourage the practicing of social distancing to reduce the spread of the virus, there are no assurances that you or your child(ren) will not contact the virus. Using the Township’s property for any activity may increase the risk of contracting the virus. By using the Township’s property, you voluntarily assume the risk that you or your child(ren) may contract the virus which may result in personal injury, illness, or even death. You understand the risk of exposure to the virus and you or child(ren) may become infected and such use may result from the actions, omissions or negligence of you or others, including but not limited to, Delaware Township Board of Supervisors, their Employees, Agents and Representatives. By using the Township’s property, you agree to assume all the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to either yourself or your child(ren), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or exposure of any kind that you may experience in connection with your use of the Township’s property. By using the Township’s property, you and, on behalf of your child(ren), waive, release, discharge and hold harmless Delaware Township Board of Supervisors, their Employees, Agents and Representatives from all claims of any kind arising out of or related to your use of the Township’s property.
