The Dingmans Ferry - Delaware Township Historical Society was founded in 1994 to preserve the rich history of Dingmans Ferry and Delaware Township.

The Society takes special pride in commemorating the life of the colonial village of Dingmans Ferry which began with its settlement in 1732 by Andrew Dingman and extended for 230 years until its removal and incorporation into the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Our membership meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from March through November. The meetings start at 7pm and are held at the Delaware Twp Building located on Wilson Hill Road in Dingmans Ferry. Many meetings include programs featuring historical topics and prominent local speakers. The public is invited to attend.
