Delaware Township's recorded history began about 1766, making it the oldest of Pike County's townships. It receives its name from its only natural border, the Delaware River. We are steeped in history, and the evidence of thousands of years of human endeavor remains, from the time of the Native peoples, through the days of Colonial settlement, the nation's industrial revolution, and the more recent past. We, the members of the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors, strive to work as a team, and are united in our effort to provide the services and resources that keep Delaware Township running smoothly. State Representative John J. Siptroth Office hours are Thursdays, 9AM-5PM; with Constituent Meetings the third Thursday of each month, 10AM-2PM. Representative Siptroth is an active member of the Pike County Road Task Force, whom he meets with on a monthly basis to discuss critical transportation matters, including the current condition and maintenance of Milford Road, Route 739 and Route 209.
