Environmental Advisory Council for Delaware Township

The Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) meets on the second Friday of each month at 6:30PM in the Delaware Township building.

The powers of the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) of Delaware Township include the following:
  • Identification of natural resources within the Township.
  • Identification of environmental problems.
  • Preparation of an index of all areas, public or privately owned, including but not limited to, flood prone areas, swamps, and other unique natural areas.
  • Recommendation of laws and programs for promotion and conservation of the natural resources and for the protection and improvement of the quality of the environment within the Township.
  • Make recommendations as to the possible use of open lands within the Township.
  • Promote a community environmental program.
  • Advise regarding acquisition of property.
