The Dingmans Ferry-Delaware Township Historical Society was founded in 1994. The Society is dedicated to the preservation of records from early settlers, and to the commemoration and preservation of artifacts, institutions, and landmarks that constitute the history of Delaware Township and Dingmans Ferry. The Society meets at the Delaware Township Municipal Building the third Thursday of the month, 7PM, from March through November. Historical Society Officers include: High Falls Hotel President - JoAnn Parsell Vice-President – Ester Irwin Secretary – Lori Strelecki Treasurer – Louise Chattaway Genealogy – Miriam Carpenter Library – Brenda Snyder The Society welcomes gifts of antiques, artifacts, books, letters, manuscripts, maps, pamphlets, business letterheads, photographs and other items pertaining to the history of Dingmans Ferry and Delaware Township. All donations become property of the Society, which may be displayed in its collection, or stored for future reference. The Dingmans Ferry-Delaware Township Historical Society also welcomes new members!
