Delaware Township Volunteer
Ambulance Corp is a non-profit volunteer organization that provides 24 hour Emergency
Medical Services. Since our inception in 1975, we have expanded to keep pace with the
explosive growth of our community.
 |
|
- Emergency Medical Technicians are trained in basic life support procedures
including patient assessment, assisted breathing techniques, use of Automated External
Defibrillators, oxygen administration, bandaging and splinting techniques.
- Pike County Advanced Life Support's Paramedic Service supplements the services we
provide. Paramedics are trained in advanced life support procedures including
advanced airway techniques, defibrillation, electro-cardiogram and IV medications.
|
Our crews have the
opportunity to continue their education, update their skills, and learn new techniques
for emergency care. Volunteers are always needed. If you would like to make a
difference in our community, please join us by contacting DTVAC at 570.828.2345 today!
